Licensure Notice
This information is provided in good faith to applicants as of October 31, 2022.
The St. John Fisher University Doctor of Pharmacy online program leads to a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. The designed outcome is to meet eligibility requirements for graduates to sit for the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX), the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MPJE), and the Compounding-Written and Practical Examination in New York (if applicable). This program is designed to lead to exam eligibility and not an individual license. State specific requirements may vary independent of pharmacy school attendance.
The table below provides a state by state breakdown of comparable requirements, including a determination of eligibility for examination. This information provided is designed as a baseline determination of whether the program meets individual state specific requirements. Specific state licenses may be more applicable and/or require additional standards. Licensure requirements, exam eligibility, and appropriate pathways are subject to change and may differ based on individual student backgrounds, including coursework taken outside the scope of the program. It is the responsibility of the students to determine the appropriate pathway and license type for themselves.
